HOW IT WORKS
Shown on the right is a typical configuration of a roof mounted domestic solar power system.
There are however many different configurations possible including ground mounting, or flat roofs or on the side of buildings.
Typically a normal house can have a 2.5Kw system installed which will provide you with electrcity for the home and to re-supply the National Power Grid.
Below is a high level diagram demonstrating how Sun Radiation is converted to Electrivity.

Guaranteed energy which is predictable for many years in advance as sun rises and sets to a pattern. The panels to utilise the suns energy work on natural daylight and are relatively small compared to the other technologies. Dramatically reduces energy bills which in turn becomes an investment and a way of life statement to other people. The sun provides more energy than we could ever consume. If we put solar energy panels on the Gobi Desert – it would supply 20 X the current worlds total energy demand!! |
